 Dallas Central Appraisal District (DCAD)
 Full Time Employee
  SQL Server (2003, 2008, 2012, 2014) Database administrator, and programmer. Automated tasks, and setup
  JOBS using GECS, and SQL server jobs and developed TSQL scripts with IDERA SQL Safe that allowed
  programers to restore Databases when needed. Web programmming to update the DCAD site, and add
  Texas Legislated requirements like Online Homestead applications.
  I have automated SQL Server so I can do both Database developemnt Web developement using .net, ASPX.net. 
    
 December 1997 to 2008
 Contract Programmer
  SQL Server Administrator, and programmer for Computer Managed Instruction (CMI) databases. Developed Web interface using 
  Visual Interdev/VBScript, and Active Server Pages to administer CMI database. Developed SQL Server Table Trigger to 
  update a separate table each time a web based course was completed by a user.

 Contract Programmer
  Developed Perl Program to call UPS Internet/CGI program to calculate shipping cost, and return it to e-commerce 
  application. Developed "C" program to call Taxware API to calculate sales tax, and return it to e-commerce application.

 Contract Programmer
  Microsoft Access database to handle a school district's scheduling of cable television channels. 
  Completed Version 1, was used for 1998/1999 school year, and developed enhanced version 2 for 1999/2000 school year.

 October 1996 to December 1997
 Contract Programmer
  Windows, Windows NT System Administrator for military contractor. Setup NT System Policies, and created an 
  installation template that all new Windows NT PCs were based on. Senior Analyst for problem determination for 
  Applications problems, including MSOffice97, and third party software running on Windows, Windows 95, and Windows NT.

 Contract Programmer
  Developed a Microsoft Access Database application for tracking Patent and TradeMark applications. Setup Forms for 
  all data entry, and database maintenance. Developed a generic three column query so a person could look at any 
  three columns without having any programming knowledge. Database was designed to be completely menu driven.

 Contract Programmer
  Set up Web site for not for profit organization. Setup included: HTML pages, Domain registration, Internet Service 
  Provider selection. Trained sponsor to be able to maintain information herself.

 Contract Programmer
  Determined problems with Microsoft Internet Information Server, after upgrades for IIS 3.0 were installed. 
  Setup NT Security Domain, and configured servers to work on SWB network.

 Contract Programmer
  Developed an Internet application for a secondary loan institution on a DEC VAX VMS server using PERL, HTML, 
  and INTERDEV. Developed a SYBASE Open Client Application in C to store and retrieve information from the 
  Equifax credit service. Project started on Microsoft Windows NT, IIS3.0, Perl, and SQL Server, 
  but was ported to VMS for more fault tolerant system solution at the clients direction.

 October 1984 to October 1996
 JC Penney
 TECHNICAL SPECIALIST (4 years)
  Managed 3 people as technical lead for VM support and primary support for WINDOWS/NT systems. Developed an EXCEL 
  Add-in in VISUAL C++ to interface the JCPenney security system with Essbase's database security, providing a 
  single signon for the Essbase application. Served as the Technical contact for Essbase multidimensional database 
  for JCPenney. Setup HTTP server on VM which was used for both the JCPenney Intranet, and Internet access. 
  Developed REXX CGI programs and HTML pages to display information that was previously only available on the VM Mainframe.

 TECHNICAL SPECIALIST (3 years, 8 months)
  Maintained six VM systems and personal computer support for the department. Installed PC software, such as 
  MS-OFFICE and MS-ACCESS, and configured the PCs to be connected to the JCPenney network. Converted a 
  Mainframe FOCUS database that contained all JCPenney corporate software information to a MS-ACCESS database. 
  The database had 7 years of historical information, tracked current software, and was used to develop budgets 
  for the up coming year. After the database had been developed, I developed a VISUAL BASIC front end to the 
  MS Access database so that managers could view the software information real time, instead of 
  requesting a person generate a report.

 PROJECT MANAGER (2 years, 4 months)
  Managed the VM systems and two associates as technical lead. Trained the associates as VM systems programmers.

 SYSTEMS PROGRAMMER (2 years)
  Maintained two VM Mainframes. Installed and maintained all the software including the VM operating system 
  and fifteen different applications that ran under VM such as RSCS, VTAM and PROFS.
